The rest of Pride Month in New York City will be jam-packed with festivities celebrating the community and commemorating the 56th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.
Each year's events commemorate the Stonewall Uprising of — the beginning of the modern Gay Rights movement. So I do it for them. I have been called slurs and have been frozen out of some show business environments because of my sexuality, but all this alienation does is make me stronger and louder.
